About dildos
A dildo is a long obkect with a rounded end to be inserted into the intmate body openings to obtain sexual pleasure - namly the vagin aor the anus. Similar obkects are also used medically to extend these openings, but they are then not called dildos.
Often a dildo has the shape of a penis and sometimes the total object also include a scrotum-shaped part at the base.
Dildos can be variably thick and long and elsewhere also variably shaped. It is often fairly thin at the tip, then it is usully gradually broading towards longer dow on the shaft, then it usuallly shink in sixe again even longer downwards and at the base end it usually has some broad structure that hinders entire penetration and fascilitates holding of the dildo.

The history of the dildo
The dildo accompany humanity since millennia, as confirmed by the finding of
some stone and bone artifacts of phallic shape at the Gorges d'Enfer (Gorge of
Hell), in the town of Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil in the region 's Aquitaine in
France, probably dildos made out of stoney materials, although some scholars
consider these artifacts simple work tools or reinforcements for the spears.
A phallos-shaped green jade stone, probably used as a dildo and dating back to
6000 years ago, according to experts, is currently exhibited at the Museum of
Ancient Chinese Sexual Culture (Museum of Ancient Chinese Sex Culture in Tongli)

The dildo was also used in ancient Greece, carved and clothed in the leather,
and called olisboi (singular olisbos).
According to some interpretations, it is referred to figuratively dildo in the Bible: "With your beautiful jewels of gold and silver, which I had given you, yourself made and human-like figures and you used them for sin. (Ezekiel 16:17)"
Materials used to make dildos
The early dildos were made of stone, wood, leather, wax or porcelain. Dildos made of eather at the outside and filled with cotton or rags were once very popular. Dildos made of rubber, but usually with a core of rigid metal, were marketed for the first time in the 40s. These objects were quite dangerous because the gum could easily dissolve and the metal bar protrude and hurt during use.
Later, they released the dildo in PVC were safer. Many dildos sold today,
especially cheaper ones, are produced with this material.

Dildos made of hard and thick PVC and metal like chorme are robust, very smooth

The '90s saw the boom of silicone dildos. These were expensive at the beginning

fairly robust, but not as robust as those made of the hard materials. They are

skin. The Cyberskin guarantee a particular realism, but it is a porous material
that can not be sterilized, it becomes sticky after washing (which
inconveniently can be remedied with wheat flour) and is much more delicate and
perishable than silicone.
Problems were found with some soft PVC and jelly dildos because they contain
phthalate, a softening agent added to some plastics used for CD cases, food
containers and other soft toys. Phthalate may enter the bloodstream through the
mucous membranes of the mouth, vagina and anus, some studies link it to diseases
like cancer and birth defects. PVC products and gelatin also can not be
sterilized.
What are the best dildos?
